In addition to this programmable button selection, the O9 Control Head has a dedicated "Manual" button on its Siren Mode Keypad.

WFForward.png The Manual Siren mode can also be enabled as one of a sequence of radio actions, known as Consolidated Actions. See also: Siren Type.

When a VIP Input is programmed for Horn Ring operation, first a radio-user initiated DotRed.png Siren button-press activates Siren operation, and a DotRed.png Manual button-press selects the CPS-defined Manual Tone; the Manual Tone then sounds when the vehicle's Horn Ring is pressed, and ends when the Horn Ring is released.

When a VIP Input is not programmed for Horn Ring operation, first a radio-user initiated DotRed.png Siren button-press activates Siren operation, and a DotRed.png Manual button-press selects the CPS-defined Manual Tone; the Manual Tone sounds when the Manual button is pressed and ends when the button is released.

If the radio is already sounding a DotRed.png Wail, DotRed.png Yelp, or DotRed.png Hi / Lo Siren tone (activated by selecting one of these Siren types accompanied by a DotRed.png Siren button-press), the selected Siren tone is changed by pressing the Manual button.
